PatrolGuard News: May 2026

May 8, 2026

Welcome to the very first PatrolGuard newsletter.

From alarm callouts and mobile patrols to industry insights and behind-the-scenes stories, we’ll be sharing a regular mix of security news, practical advice and a few things we’ve learned along the way.

Security might be serious but our newsletter doesn’t have to be.

Don't let this happen

If you have a void or vacant property, it often doesn’t take long before concerns arise.

Problems caused by leaving a property empty can be potentially detrimental to your building and your business.

That is where our vacant property service comes in.

We carry out regular inspections, checking for vermin,, leaks or safety issues, inside and out. If anything is not right, we act quickly and send you clear reports after every visit.

Many insurance providers require regular checks on vacant buildings, so this is not just about security, it is about protecting your investment and staying compliant.

It's only us!

Are you responsible for a large site or multiple sites?

Ensuring every access point is locked at the end of each day is a nightmare.

Well, with PatrolGuard, it can be a dream.

Our team can send mobile patrols to your property at random or scheduled times to check everything is in order.

For many of our customers, once a week is enough to give them full peace of mind, though we can come as often as you’d like.

More details.

Caught red-handed!

Here’s a recent example of our team in action.

One Saturday morning earlier this year, around 8am, a client’s fire door was forced, car keys were taken and the offender left the scene. Our team responded in under 30 minutes, secured the site, reviewed CCTV and supported the police on arrival.

Our actions helped move the investigation forward and led to an arrest.

When that early morning alarm sounds, it is not something you want to deal with yourself.

Leave it to the experts.

Cheaper than your cappuccino

Did you know our keyholding and alarm response service can cost as little as £1 a day?

Here’s what you get:

  1. We securely hold a spare set of your keys at our storage facility or with our mobile patrol units.
  2. If your alarm is triggered, our 24/7 control room is alerted and sends a trained responder straight away.
  3. We attend your premises, check for issues, secure the site, contact emergency services if needed and make sure everything is safe before leaving.
  4. You receive a full report explaining what happened and what we did.

No stress. No disruption. No unnecessary risk.

Many us spend £4 on a coffee every day, so spending a quarter of that on our keyholding service is a no-brainer.

What our customers say

Obviously we’re going to harp on about how amazing we are, so how about hearing it from one of our customers?

''We have recently switched to PatrolGuard and feel much more confident with them looking after our premises, plus they can provide additional services that our previous key holder could not.''
