PatrolGuard News: July 2026

July 7, 2026

We broke our own record!

During May’s heatwave, we shared that we’d received 18 callouts in a 12-hour shift – our record at the time.

Last month, during another week of scorching heat, we received 24 in the same time span.

From bugs dancing around alarm sensors to malfunctions caused by the heat itself, we often see a spike of callouts during these periods.

We’re proud to say that, despite the weather, each callout was responded to successfully and each patrol completed.

If you’ve been struggling with false alarm activations, give us a call on 0845 370 5098.

Silver linings

We must admit that carrying out record-breaking numbers of callouts across the recent heatwave was a challenge!

However, it does allow our security staff to see some pretty amazing views.

Here’s a photo from one of our guards taken at Compton Verney in Warwickshire, for whom we’re proud to provide alarm response services.

Where we cover

Our team is committed to fast, reliable security services that keep your building (and staff) safe.

For this reason, we primarily operate across Coventry, Warwickshire or within the CV postcode district.

From time to time, we may take work outside this area, but it's important that it's around 20 minutes from us to allow for a good response time and comply with police guidelines.

So whether you’re in Binley, Bedworth or Bubbenhall, we’ve got you covered!

Based in/around Rugby?

Talking of places in the CV postcode, we have several clients in the Rugby area.

We’ve recently published an article explaining how we can help Rugby businesses with a wide range of security services, from keyholding to alarm response, patrols and QR patrols, open and lock up services and more.
