The weather hasn’t been kind since the start of the new year. Most mornings, frosts are getting thicker and the rain turns into snow. Towards the end of January, we have had our yearly ‘snow day’ on the weekend of 23/24th of January. We were still operational, responding to alarms, locking up buildings and completing our foot patrols. While some sites were difficult to get to, we used our director 4x4 to get to the difficult sites to complete our work for our customers.
While not every ‘snow day’ will impact your business, preparing for bad weather is something you should consider when planning for your business security. If your alarm is triggered during the night, who will respond? How comfortable are you – and any potential keyholders – with responding to your alarm when the weather takes a turn for the worse?

If we attend your business property and find that it has been broken into, we’ll contact the Police right away and see what we need to do to cure the site. If required, we’ll contact you and remain on site until you arrive or if you are happy with our suggested action, we will start putting it in place. Do you supply an incident report following an attendance? Yes, we will leave a written report of the activation to advise what happened, what we did on site, how we resolved it and if there is any further action to be taken. Can you randomly visit to check on my property during night-time hours or at the weekend to make sure it’s secure? Yes, we can arrange for that to happen. One of our guards can attend your property during night-time hours or at the weekend to act as a visible deterrent to anyone watching your property. We can do this as many times as you need and pay per visit. We can do external or internal patrols. Check windows, doors and do our foot patrols as many times as you like.
